Senior Staff Veterinarian
Dr. Litsey is a Texas native, born and raised in Fort Worth. After high school, he moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to attend LSU. He studied in an undergraduate program for 2 years, then went directly to the LSU Veterinary program, where he graduated with his degree in the summer of 1988.
Dr. Litsey has 35 years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery, and has a particular interest in dermatology and preventative care. Throughout his career, Dr. Litsey has worked as an associate veterinarian as well as practice owner, and is now the senior staff veterinarian at Low Cost Pet Vet.
As a husband and father, Dr. Litsey enjoys spending time with his family. He has been married to his wife April for 28 years, and they have three grown children together, one daughter and two sons. Dr. Litsey is an avid consumer of the arts, and his favorite activities (outside of providing outstanding care to our furry friends at Low Cost Pet Vet) are enjoying the local music and theater scene in the DFW area.
